Miso Caramel

Had a bowl of oatmeal for dinner the other day and thought I’d change it up a bit by using one of my staple dinner ingredients… Miso paste! This is basically a salted caramel but it’s raw, healthy and so quick to make. Definitely give it a go if you’re feeling adventurous! Miso Caramel Some sweet and salty goodness for you to drizzle over your oatmeal 1T miso paste (choose one that isn’t too salty) 1 tsp mesquite powrder 1-2 tsp coconut sugar (sweeten to taste) Hot water, as needed Put the first three ingredients into a small bowl. Slowly add the hot water whilst stirring until it reaches your desired consistency.
